We opened all eight listed pages before writing this.

The short version for brands: there is a new way to earn cash for referring other US merchants, a new review dashboard worth checking weekly, the campaign registration rules to know before Black Friday and Cyber Monday, peak-season shipping rate cards already in effect, and a document checklist for anyone selling fine jewelry. TikTok Shop US Seller Referral Program

TikTok Shop US - Seller Referral Program is filed under Feature Guide, Terms and Conditions, tagged Incentive Policy, and applies to the United States. It explains how an existing US seller can invite new US merchants and what the referrer can earn.

How it works, per the page

  • Open the Seller Referral Program landing page from Seller Center (the Check now button), then use Copy link to copy your unique referral link.
  • Share Poster generates a TikTok Shop poster with your shop name and a Scan to join QR code. It can be shared to Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Web or Email, or downloaded.
  • The page tracks Total Referrals and Total you Earned.

Reward terms, per the page

  • Phase 1 participation period: October 9 to October 31.
  • Unless the campaign materials say otherwise: $50 when the referred seller reaches $100 settled GMV and 5 unique buyers within its first 30 days, and an additional $100 when it reaches $1,000 settled GMV and 5 unique buyers in the same 30 days. Maximum $150 per qualified referral.
  • The referred seller must be a new qualified US merchant that has never registered, applied or sold as a TikTok Shop US seller, apply through your link, be approved, and complete onboarding.
  • Maximum 10 referred sellers per referrer, subject to change. Rewards are limited and first-come, first-served.
  • Tier 1 is issued automatically after the milestone passes a T+7 risk review; Tier 2 is calculated after the 30-day window and then goes through T+7 review.
  • Rewards can be delayed, withheld, cancelled or reversed for cancellations, refunds, risk flags, or abuse. TikTok can review referral source, account relationships, buyer uniqueness and refunds.
  • You may only send the link to merchants who have given permission where the law requires it, and you may not sell, publicly advertise or mass-distribute the link unless TikTok expressly allows it. You must share the terms with the people you refer.

Who it affects: any eligible US seller who works with other brands, such as suppliers, sister brands, or founders in your network. What to do: if you refer someone, refer only businesses that are genuinely new to TikTok Shop US, send them the terms, and do not post the link publicly. The window for Phase 1 closes October 31.

We also linked this page in our Sep 26 post; it now shows 10/13/2026 and the Phase 1 dates above.

Manage Product · page dated 10/13/2026

Product Ratings & Overall Product-Level Review Management

Product Ratings & Overall Product-Level Review Management describes a new Overview tab in Product Ratings that opens by default. The four tabs are now Overview, TikTok Shop Reviews, Imported Reviews, and Incentivized Reviews; the other three are unchanged.

What Overview shows

  • Review Performance: two KPI cards, Products reviews coverage and Negative review rate, plus a dual-line, dual-Y-axis trend chart refreshed daily.
  • Products reviews coverage = online products with at least one displayed review ÷ total online products.
  • Negative review rate = displayed 1 to 2 star reviews ÷ total displayed reviews. Displayed reviews include TikTok Shop reviews and approved Imported Reviews.
  • Product List: partial-match search by product name or ID, quick filters for No reviews and No orders, and advanced filters by rating, orders, total reviews and coupon status (combined with AND). Each row shows paid orders over the past 30 days, TikTok Shop and Imported review counts with negative counts, Product Rating, and one Suggested action.
  • Pending Imported Reviews are not counted in Product Rating; with no displayed reviews, the rating shows “/”.
  • Suggested action can be View reviews, Reply now, Import reviews, or Create coupon. It is only a shortcut; the work still happens in the existing tabs. Reply now may appear when a negative review is awaiting a reply.

The guardrails on the page

  • Import reviews is only for eligible sellers and eligible reviews.
  • Create coupon only opens the existing Incentivized Reviews tool, and coupons must not be used to request or encourage positive reviews or higher ratings.
  • TikTok says the feature does not guarantee review count, ratings, sales, conversions, CVR, or GMV, and that similar trends in the chart do not imply causation.

Who it affects: every US seller with live products. What to do: make Overview a weekly check. Filter for products with orders but no reviews, reply to negative reviews, and look at order volume, review count and rating together rather than one number alone, as the page recommends.

How to register for standard / advanced registration?

How to register for standard / advanced registration? walks through registering products for platform campaigns in Seller Center under Marketing, Campaigns. The text we captured describes Standard Registration in detail; it does not set out a separate advanced registration process, so we do not describe one.

Eligibility, per the page (rules vary by campaign)

  • Pricing: campaign prices are typically at or below the lowest price in the past 30 days; for major events like BFCM the requirement may extend further.
  • Shop performance score: SPS 3.5 or higher, or no SPS yet.
  • Shipping: free shipping with a threshold of $30 or less.
  • Coupons: all coupons must be registered to enroll.

Process and costs

  • Standard registration carries a 1% campaign service fee on every order placed during the campaign.
  • Products matching a campaign's key product groups carry a tier label and a “Key product” tag; the list is sorted by 30-day sales volume, and a bulk template is prefilled with category, brand and sales data.
  • Co-funded coupons show discount type, targeting and funding details; shoppers can use one coupon per order, and co-funded coupons can stack with other seller coupons.
  • An optional Extra Discount must cover all SKUs of a product; 0% cannot be submitted.
  • Status can be Under Review, Approved, Rejected, Expired or Withdrawal Under Review. Price edits are typically reviewed within 5 business days, and co-funded products under review cannot be edited. Approved products can be bulk price-updated via export and upload.
  • Adding or removing a SKU variation in Manage Products triggers a SKU error and a “Need to re-register” alert; the product must be withdrawn and re-registered before the deadline. PDP category changes are not allowed during registration.
  • TikTok can invite products to campaigns; invited products can be registered one by one, in bulk, or from a prefilled upload template.

Who it affects: brands planning Q4 campaign participation. What to do: check your 30-day lowest price before you set campaign prices, confirm SPS and the free-shipping threshold, and freeze SKU variations on registered products until the campaign ends. Our holiday prep guide covers the timing.

What is TikTok Shipping - Standard Delivery

What is TikTok Shipping - Standard Delivery describes the US option where sellers buy last-mile labels through TikTok Shop and TikTok assigns the carrier (primarily USPS, FedEx, UPS and regional carriers).

  • Rates start from $3.43, per the page, with a dedicated flat rate for LIVE orders based only on weight tier.
  • Peak season: TikTok updates Standard Delivery rate cards effective October 5, 2026 through January 17, 2027, Pacific Time. Collection by TikTok (CBT) rates do not change. The figures are in a separate Peak Season Shipping Rate page we did not open for this post.
  • Sellers who dispatch on time get exemptions from OTDR and NRR penalties, a VTR exemption, and logistics-caused delays or reviews (excluding out of stock / wrong item and damaged items) do not affect SPS.
  • TikTok compensates for lost, damaged or undelivered packages caused by logistics.
  • Signature Service costs $4.15 per package on FedEx Ground, FedEx Ground Home Delivery and USPS Ground Advantage. Express Service is priced by weight and zone. Shipping protection is free for packages valued at USD 100 or less.
  • From 10/05/2026, a dimension surcharge applies: $10.15 per package if the longest side exceeds 48 inches or volume exceeds 10,368 cubic inches, and $79.99 above 96 inches or 17,280 cubic inches.
  • From 10/05/2026, a weight surcharge applies: $10.15 above 50 lb actual weight and $79.99 above 100 lb.
  • The page tells sellers to check with their third-party warehouse about any extra charges, and to compare costs in the Shipping Calculator.

Who it affects: US sellers shipping on TikTok Shipping, especially bulky or heavy products. What to do: re-run your typical packages through the Shipping Calculator under the peak rate cards, flag any SKU near the 48-inch or 50 lb lines, and adjust free-shipping thresholds or bundles before BFCM. We covered earlier versions of this page on Sep 26.

Jewelry Products Requirements

Jewelry Products Requirements covers accessories, sets, rings, necklaces, pendants, earrings and bracelets made from or featuring precious and semiprecious metals, gemstones and fine materials, including gold, diamond, and ruby, sapphire and emerald. Jewelry is also subject to the Restricted Products Policy.

Documents, per the page

  • All three groups: product photos and packaging must match the listing and documents, be clear and unaltered, and clearly show the Country of Origin permanently displayed on the product or packaging (per 19 CFR Part 134).
  • Gold: a test report from an accredited lab (Eurofins, SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, TUV, DEKRA, Mutual Cornell, API, QIMA) issued within the last 365 days, plus a Certificate or Letter of Authenticity showing the product and gold purity.
  • Diamond: AGS or GIA certification for natural diamonds; IGI or GIA for lab-created. The certificate must show cut and carat, match the product image, and be in English.
  • Ruby, sapphire and emerald: a certificate from AGS, GIA, IGI or AGL that matches the cut in the product image and is in English.

Rejections and enforcement

Listings can be rejected for missing, expired, unclear, altered or incomplete documents, photos that do not match, a missing Country of Origin, an unaccepted lab, missing purity, carat or cut details, or products that appear counterfeit or low quality. Enforcement can include rejected qualification, Account Health Rating deductions, listing removal, losing the ability to sell, and customer refunds.

Who it affects: fine-jewelry brands and resellers. What to do: check that every certificate matches the exact listing photos, that test reports are under a year old, and that the Country of Origin is permanently marked. We covered an earlier version on Sep 28.

Frequently asked questions

How does the TikTok Shop US Seller Referral Program pay out?
The Seller Referral Program terms (page dated 10/13/2026) say that, unless the campaign materials state otherwise, a referrer may earn $50 when a new US merchant who signed up through their link reaches $100 settled GMV and 5 unique buyers within its first 30 days, and another $100 when it reaches $1,000 settled GMV and 5 unique buyers within the same 30 days, up to $150 per qualified referral. Rewards follow a T+7 risk review, are limited to 10 referred sellers per referrer, are first-come, first-served, and can be withheld or reversed. Phase 1 runs October 9 to October 31.
What is the new Overview tab in TikTok Shop Product Ratings?
Product Ratings (page dated 10/13/2026) adds an Overview tab that opens by default, next to the existing TikTok Shop Reviews, Imported Reviews and Incentivized Reviews tabs. Overview shows two KPI cards, Products reviews coverage and Negative review rate, a daily trend chart, and a product list with one Suggested action per product (View reviews, Reply now, Import reviews, or Create coupon). TikTok says the feature does not guarantee review counts, ratings, sales or GMV.
How are Products reviews coverage and Negative review rate calculated?
Per the Product Ratings page, Products reviews coverage is online products with at least one displayed review divided by all online products. Negative review rate is displayed 1 to 2 star reviews divided by all displayed reviews. Displayed reviews include TikTok Shop reviews and approved Imported Reviews; pending imported reviews are not counted in Product Rating.
What do I need to register products for a TikTok Shop campaign?
The standard / advanced registration course (page dated 10/13/2026) says campaign prices are typically at or below the lowest price of the past 30 days, the shop needs an SPS of 3.5 or higher (or no SPS yet), free shipping must kick in at $30 or less, and all coupons must be registered. Requirements vary by campaign. Standard registration carries a 1% campaign service fee on every order during the campaign. Price edits are typically reviewed within 5 business days.
Are TikTok Shipping Standard Delivery rates changing for peak season?
Yes. The Standard Delivery page (listed as Updated Oct 12, 2026) says peak-season rate cards apply from October 5, 2026 through January 17, 2027, Pacific Time, while Collection by TikTok (CBT) rates stay the same. From 10/05/2026, dimension and weight surcharges of $10.15 and $79.99 per package apply above the listed size and weight limits. The page says rates start from $3.43 and points sellers to the Shipping Calculator.
What documents does TikTok Shop require to sell gold, diamond or gemstone jewelry?
Jewelry Products Requirements (listed as Updated Oct 12, 2026) says sellers may need category qualification. Gold needs a test report from a listed accredited lab issued within 365 days plus a certificate or letter of authenticity showing purity. Diamonds need AGS or GIA certification for natural stones, or IGI or GIA for lab-created. Ruby, sapphire and emerald need a certificate from AGS, GIA, IGI or AGL. Photos and packaging must show the Country of Origin permanently displayed per 19 CFR Part 134.
