What this watch covered

On the morning of Oct 3, 2026, Get Live checked US TikTok Shop Seller University (TikTok Shop Academy), For Sellers. Latest policies rotated. All four visible cards are badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026. Latest courses did not rotate. The policy lead is Household Appliances Requirements. Dietary Supplements Requirements is new to the visible policy top four in this series.

This post is for brands that pay for TikTok Shop operations: founders, e-commerce leads, and whoever owns the shop's P&L. Appliances, pet supplies, dietary supplements, and human OTC medications are catalog and compliance work. The courses that stayed on the hub sit with catalog, finance, affiliate ops, and the October live calendar. None of that is a creator manager working from a title alone.

For Sellers · titles and dates as shown

What moved on the hub

Latest policies, top four

  1. Household Appliances Requirements — badged UPDATE, Updated Oct 2, 2026. New to the visible policy top four in this series.
  2. Pet Supplies Requirements — badged UPDATE, Updated Oct 2, 2026. On the Oct 2 watch the same title was #2, labeled Updated Oct 1, 2026. Our Sep 28 post read this title in full when the hub label was Updated Sep 28, 2026.
  3. Dietary Supplements Requirements — badged UPDATE, Updated Oct 2, 2026. New to the visible policy top four in this series.
  4. Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications Requirements — badged UPDATE, Updated Oct 2, 2026. On the Oct 2 watch the same title was #4, labeled Updated Oct 1, 2026.

Latest courses, still listed — unchanged

The course slate did not rotate. This watch still lists the same four titles the Oct 2 post and the Oct 1 post recorded, in that order. We did not open the course essays. This morning's capture prints an Updated line for all four.

  1. HSA/FSA Feature and Seller Guide — Updated Sep 30, 2026. The Oct 1 watch recorded the same date. The Oct 2 morning note did not print a fresh Updated line for this card. This capture does. Essay not opened.
  2. 2026 October GMV Sprint — Updated Sep 30, 2026. The Oct 1 watch and the Sep 30 watch recorded the same date. Essay not opened.
  3. Sales Accelerator: Grow from Strategic Key Products (SKPP) to Bestsellers — Updated Sep 30, 2026. The Oct 1 watch recorded that longer hub title, also Updated Sep 30. Essay not opened.
  4. Targeted Collaboration Playbook — Updated Sep 29, 2026. This capture shows the title through “How Bonus Inv…”. The Oct 1 watch recorded it through “How Bonus Invitations Work,” also Updated Sep 29. Essay not opened.

Compared with the Oct 2 policy top four, two cards are not in today's recorded top four: Restricted Products Policy and Pet Healthcare Product Requirements. Pet Supplies and OTC Medications stayed. Their hub labels moved from Updated Oct 1 to Updated Oct 2. A card leaving the top slots means Academy is surfacing something else. It does not mean the older document was withdrawn.

Courses still listed

HSA/FSA Feature and Seller Guide, 2026 October GMV Sprint, Sales Accelerator SKPP to Bestsellers, and Targeted Collaboration Playbook are still listed. This watch does not add course content. The dates it records are the ones printed on this morning's hub: Updated Sep 30 for the first three, Updated Sep 29 for the playbook.

Those dates match the Oct 1 post. That post did not expand HSA or FSA, and it did not state GMV Sprint prizes, targets, or enrollment. This post does not either. Our holiday prep guide is Get Live's own Q4 planning frame. The GMV Sprint essay stayed closed on this watch.

Sales Accelerator stays at the Updated Sep 30 label. The only expansion of SKPP this series uses is the one printed in the hub title: Strategic Key Products (SKPP). Rank and a repeated date do not define how a product becomes a Strategic Key Product. The Targeted Collaboration Playbook stays at Updated Sep 29. Because that essay stayed closed, this post still does not describe creator targeting or bonus invitations. Our creator affiliate program guide is not a summary of that card.

Household Appliances Requirements

Household Appliances Requirements led Latest policies, badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026. The essay we opened prints 10/02/2026 under the title. It was not in the visible policy top four on the Oct 2 watch. This post does not list every document bullet.

The page's key points say that to sell Household Appliances, you may need to submit documentation through the Qualification Center, that requirements vary depending on your role as a seller, and that review and rejection help is in Your Guide to Category Qualification. The essay says household appliances are also subject to the Restricted Products Policy, and that sellers must comply with both documents when listing household appliances. The Oct 2 post is the read of that policy, dated 10/01/2026 on the essay we opened then. This watch did not re-open it.

The page applies the requirements to a list it says is not exhaustive, in four groups. General electronic appliances on that list are a steam oven, a grill, an electric kettle, a vacuum, and an electric fan. Appliances that require an EnergyGuide label on that list include a dryer, clothes washer, dishwasher, television, ceiling fan, central air conditioner, room or portable air conditioner, freezer, furnace, heat pump, pool heater, water heater, and refrigerator. The EnergyGuide section says that list includes, but is not limited to, those products. Products with CO₂ on the list are a soda maker. Appliances that require EPA labeling on the list are an electric mosquito killer and a home sterilizer. The page says some products fall into more than one category — its example is a refrigerator, both a general electronic appliance and an EnergyGuide-covered product — and that a product in multiple categories must meet the requirements for all of them.

What the 10/02/2026 page says about documents, in short: sellers may be required to pass category qualification. For general electronic appliances, manufacturers, importers, and repackers may be required to submit a Certificate of Compliance issued within the last 2 years, and product or packaging images showing a valid electrical safety marking and, if the product has Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, an FCC marking. The page says double-stickering is not allowed. Resellers of those appliances may be required to submit a manufacturer purchase invoice issued within the last 365 days, plus the same kind of images. All sellers of an EnergyGuide-covered appliance must provide an image of the product or its packaging showing the EnergyGuide label, including the estimated yearly energy use, the cost range for similar models, and the estimated yearly energy cost. For appliances that contain CO₂, including soda makers, manufacturers and importers may be required to submit a U.S. Department of Transportation certification and a product test report or certification from a CPSC-accepted laboratory. The page says that CPSC report must be issued within the past 2 years. Resellers of those products may be required to submit a purchase invoice issued within the last 365 days. The EPA-labeling section points readers to Requirements for Pesticides. We did not open that page.

The essay also says that claiming electrical safety without approved testing or certification violates the requirements, and that tests and certifications must come from recognized electrical safety or FCC laboratories. It says TikTok Shop may remove an appliance listing at its discretion, including after category approval, where it reasonably believes a safety or FCC claim is unsupported, where required EnergyGuide, EPA, DOT, or CPSC-related certifications or test reports are missing, expired, or unverifiable, or where labeling is inaccurate, altered, or fraudulent. Enforcement on the page points to the Seller Enforcement Policy. Copy the COC, invoice, and image bullets from the essay onto the ticket. A 365-day appliance reseller invoice is the line this page prints. It is a different line from the pet-food and dietary-supplement invoice lines below.

Latest policies #2 · hub UPDATE · Updated Oct 2, 2026 · essay article date 10/02/2026

Pet Supplies Requirements

Pet Supplies Requirements was #2, badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026. The essay we opened prints 10/02/2026 under the title. On the Oct 2 watch the hub label was Updated Oct 1, 2026, and the essay we opened then printed 10/01/2026. The Sep 28 post is the prior full read, of an essay dated 09/28/2026. This section is the 10/02/2026 page. It does not replace either earlier post, and it does not treat those earlier sentences as today's text.

The opening we re-read still says the document applies to all sellers, including manufacturers, importers, repackers, and resellers, and that pet supplies are also subject to the Restricted Products Policy. It still says the pet supplies allowed through category qualification are Pet Food and Pet Supplements. It still says that if a product makes disease or health-condition claims, it may be regulated as an animal drug and is prohibited. It still sends electrical pet supplies — electric clippers, habitat lighting, hair dryers, and terrarium heat lamps — to Electronic Product Requirements. It still sends pet healthcare products to Pet Healthcare Product Requirements, and the examples it prints are still flea drops, non-prescription flea pills, flea collars for select brands, itch remedies, fly and mosquito control, and relaxants and anxiety relief.

One reseller-invoice line is worth separating from the Sep 28 summary. Under Requirements To Sell Pet Food, the 10/02/2026 page says resellers may be required to submit a purchase invoice, and the invoice bullets include a date within the last 180 days and a combined purchase of at least 10 units. Under Requirements to Sell Pet Supplements, the reseller section says resellers must submit a purchase invoice or proof of purchase, and those bullets include the same 180-day date and the same 10-unit combined purchase. The Sep 28 post, summarizing the essay dated 09/28/2026, recorded a reseller purchase invoice from the last 365 days. That is a difference between our earlier summary and the reseller-invoice bullets we re-read. It is not a line-by-line archive of the Sep 28 essay, and it is not a claim that every pet-food or pet-supplement document line moved.

The 10/02/2026 page continues into a prohibited-products section and into FDA registration, cGMP (the page cites 21 CFR Part 507), labels, and lab-test sections for pet food and for pet supplements. Copy those from the essay. Do not paste the Sep 28 healthcare checklist onto this ticket. Today's Pet Supplies page still points those examples at Pet Healthcare Product Requirements, which the Oct 2 post read and which left the visible top four on this watch. Re-open both pages before a listing decision.

Latest policies #3 · hub UPDATE · Updated Oct 2, 2026 · essay article date 10/02/2026 · new to the top four

Dietary Supplements Requirements

Dietary Supplements Requirements was #3, badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026. The essay we opened prints 10/02/2026 under the title. It was not in the visible policy top four on the Oct 2 watch. The page says eligibility is limited to invite-only sellers, and its key points say you must be invited and should contact your Account Manager to learn more.

The essay says a dietary supplement is a product meant for oral ingestion that contains an ingredient intended to support the diet, and that the ingredient can include vitamins, minerals, herbs, botanicals, and amino acids. It says dietary supplements are also subject to TikTok Shop Restricted Products Guidelines, and that sellers must comply with both that document and those guidelines when listing dietary supplements. The phrase on this intro is “Guidelines.” The same essay's enforcement section later says Restricted Products Policy. We are not merging those two titles into one document. The Oct 2 post is the read of Restricted Products Policy.

The permitted groups the page names, for invite-only sellers, are beauty supplements, fitness supplements, vitamins, mineral and wellness supplements, herbal supplements, and sexual wellness supplements. Its examples of the last group are testosterone boosters and sexual performance enhancer supplements, and it points to Promoting Sexual Wellness Products. We did not open that page. The high-dose section says a listing where a single serving exceeds the daily Tolerable Upper Intake Level for an adult, as established by the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements for a vitamin or mineral whose UL is associated with adverse effects, is subject to immediate enforcement. It says changing the Product Detail Page, including the stated serving size or nutrient amounts, does not bring that listing into compliance, because compliance follows the product's formulation.

The prohibited section says its list is non-exhaustive. Names it prints include weight management supplements (appetite suppressants and carbohydrate control supplements; diet shakes, fat burners, and weight loss bars; meal replacement bars, meal replacement drinks, and weight loss bars), mental wellness supplements, cannabidiol (CBD) and other hemp- or cannabis-derived cannabinoids, products named in FDA recalls, warning letters, or safety alerts, and products containing unapproved drug ingredients, with peptides and GLP-1 agonists as the page's examples. The claims section says listings may not claim that a product diagnoses, cures, mitigates, treats, or prevents a disease or medical condition, and may not claim FDA approval, endorsement, or certification. The page says dietary supplements are not FDA-approved products. Where packaging or the listing makes a structure/function claim, the label section says the label must display this disclaimer verbatim: “This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”

Document lines on the same page differ by role. Manufacturers, importers, and repackers may be required to show FDA food facility registration. The page says manufacturers must submit proof of cGMP certification confirming the establishment complies with 21 CFR Part 111, and that manufacturers, importers, and repackers must submit at least one valid product lab test report from an approved laboratory. Accepted report types it names are a TikTok Shop accredited partner laboratory, an in-house ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory plus a valid ISO certificate, or an in-house laboratory plus a valid cGMP certificate compliant with 21 CFR 111 or 21 CFR 117. It says submitted test reports must be issued within the last 180 days. It requires photos of the physical package, including front, back, and side labels, and it says digital mockups and edited label images are not accepted.

For resellers, the page says you must submit a purchase invoice or proof of purchase issued by the manufacturer or distributor. The invoice bullets require a date within the last 180 days, the same name and address as the selling account, the manufacturer or distributor name and address, products in the applicable category, a combined purchase of at least 400 units covering the products you intend to list, and English or Chinese. Resellers must also submit a partner-laboratory test report and label images. That 400-unit line is the dietary supplement reseller invoice. It is not the pet-supplement 10-unit line, and it is not the appliance 365-day invoice.

The essay requires an FD&C Act compliance attestation: a written statement that the product is correctly classified as a dietary supplement, is manufactured according to FDA requirements, uses only permitted ingredients, is properly labeled, is not unsafe or misleading, and complies with FDA and FTC rules for marketing and claims. It also has a separate Infant & Toddler Supplements section. That section says only invite-only sellers may list products there, and that products that are OTC medications are governed by Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications Requirements. Those sections are longer than this paragraph. Copy them from the essay. This is not medical advice, and it is not a determination that a SKU is invited, above a Tolerable Upper Intake Level, or prohibited.

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications Requirements

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications Requirements was #4, badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026. The essay we opened prints 10/02/2026 under the title. The Oct 2 post logged the same title as Updated Oct 1, 2026, and the essay opened then printed 10/01/2026. This post uses the Oct 2 section for that earlier read. It does not treat the Oct 2 sentences as a substitute for the page dated 10/02/2026.

The key points on the essay dated 10/02/2026 are three sentences. To sell Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications, you must meet eligibility requirements to offer products in the category, and the page says to contact your Account Manager to learn more. All sellers must follow applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, FDA labeling requirements, and any relevant DEA rules. Toddler OTC Medications are a High Risk subcategory with additional requirements, and the page points to its own Toddler OTC Medications section. The essay also says it applies to all sellers, resellers, and manufacturers, that OTC medications are subject to the Restricted Products Policy, that sellers who do not meet eligibility are prohibited from listing or selling OTC medications, and that sellers will be notified if they become eligible.

This post stops there on purpose. The essay continues into permitted product types, prohibited ingredients, concentration and quantity limits, documentation, and other rules. The Oct 2 post stopped in the same place, so this watch is not publishing a diff of sections that post did not reprint. Catalog and regulatory should open the live essay, save the 10/02/2026 date, and attach the sections that name products you actually sell. Keep that ticket apart from Pet Healthcare Product Requirements. That page, read on the Oct 2 watch, uses “OTC” for certain pet products. This page is human Over-the-Counter medications. Keep it apart from Dietary Supplements Requirements, which points OTC-classified products at this essay, and apart from HSA/FSA Feature and Seller Guide, which is still a course title on the Oct 1 post.

This page is not medical advice and not a determination that any SKU is eligible.

Cards that left since the Oct 2 watch

The Oct 2 post is the log for the policy cards that led the hub then, and for the text we actually read on the essays dated 10/01/2026. Two of those policy cards are not in today's recorded top four. The course top four did not drop a card.

  • Restricted Products Policy — Latest policies #1 on Oct 2, labeled Updated Oct 1, 2026. The essay opened then printed 10/01/2026. It dropped out of the policy top four. That is a queue change, not a statement that the document was withdrawn. Household Appliances, Pet Supplies, and OTC Medications still say sellers must also meet that policy. The Oct 1 post logged the same title as a hub card only, labeled Updated Sep 30, and did not open the essay. Use the Oct 2 section for the read. Use the Oct 1 section for the prior hub log.
  • Pet Healthcare Product Requirements — Latest policies #3 on Oct 2, labeled Published Oct 1, 2026. The essay opened then printed 10/01/2026. It is a different URL from Pet Supplies Requirements. It is not in today's policy top four. Today's Pet Supplies page still points flea, itch, fly-and-mosquito, and anxiety-relief examples at that essay. The Oct 2 section is the read. The Sep 28 Pet Supplies summary is not a substitute for it.

What this post does and does not say

  • We will claim: the four Latest policy rows above, each badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026 on this morning's hub; that we opened those four essays and each article date reads 10/02/2026; the product groups, qualification path, and document types quoted from Household Appliances Requirements; the Pet Food / Pet Supplements lines, the healthcare referral, and the 180-day / 10-unit reseller-invoice bullets quoted from Pet Supplies Requirements; the invite-only key points, permitted group names, high-dose rule, prohibited names, and manufacturer versus reseller document lines quoted from Dietary Supplements Requirements, including the 400-unit reseller invoice; the three key points quoted from Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications Requirements; that the four course titles are still listed, with the Updated dates this watch printed; and the comparison to the Oct 2 policy top four, including which cards left.
  • We will not claim: a full appliance COC, invoice, or marking checklist; that every pet-food or pet-supplement document line changed or stayed since Sep 28 or Oct 2; a line-by-line diff of OTC Medications against the 10/01/2026 essay; any OTC permitted-product list, concentration, quantity cap, state rule, or document checklist; the full dietary-supplement prohibited list, infant-and-toddler product list, or label spec; an expansion of HSA or FSA; GMV Sprint prizes; SKPP rules; how bonus invitations work; or a re-read of Restricted Products Policy or Pet Healthcare Product Requirements on this watch.

How Get Live uses this

Get Live runs TikTok Shop for brands, including live selling and creator programs. We read Seller University so a hub rotation becomes dated tasks with an owner: an appliance card opened before anyone lists a kettle, a washer, or a soda maker, a supplement card opened before anyone treats invite-only as a title, a pet-supplies card kept apart from yesterday's pet healthcare essay, and an OTC card opened before anyone states what a human medication listing may say. We quote TikTok's documents when we have opened them, and we stop where the essay is longer than a watch log should carry. We do not publish client results. If you'd rather have a team own this for your shop, you can hire Get Live to run it.

Frequently asked questions

What changed on TikTok Shop Seller University on Oct 3, 2026?
On a Get Live morning watch of the US TikTok Shop Seller University For Sellers policies on Oct 3, 2026, Latest policies showed four cards, each badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026: Household Appliances Requirements, Pet Supplies Requirements, Dietary Supplements Requirements, and Over-the-Counter (OTC) Medications Requirements. We opened those four essays. Each page's article date reads 10/02/2026. Household Appliances and Dietary Supplements are new to the visible policy top four in this series. Pet Supplies and OTC stayed from the Oct 2 watch, with the hub label and essay date moved from Oct 1 to Oct 2. Restricted Products Policy and Pet Healthcare Product Requirements left the policy top four. Courses were unchanged and still listed: HSA/FSA Feature and Seller Guide, 2026 October GMV Sprint, and Sales Accelerator SKPP to Bestsellers (Updated Sep 30), and Targeted Collaboration Playbook (Updated Sep 29). We did not open the course essays.
What does the Oct 2 Household Appliances Requirements page say?
This post does not reprint the document checklist. The essay we opened is dated 10/02/2026. Its key points say sellers may need to submit documentation through the Qualification Center, that requirements vary by seller role, and that review help is in Your Guide to Category Qualification. The page says household appliances are also subject to the Restricted Products Policy. It groups products into general electronic appliances, appliances that require an EnergyGuide label, products with CO2 (it names soda makers), and appliances that require EPA labeling, and it says the list is not exhaustive. Certificate of Compliance, EnergyGuide images, electrical and FCC markings, reseller invoices, and DOT or CPSC documents for CO2 appliances are on the essay. Open the live page before anyone lists or edits an appliance.
Are dietary supplements invite-only on the Oct 2 page?
The Dietary Supplements Requirements essay we opened is dated 10/02/2026. Its key points say you must be invited to offer products in the category and to contact your Account Manager to learn more. The page says eligibility is limited to invite-only sellers, and that dietary supplements are also subject to TikTok Shop Restricted Products Guidelines. It names permitted supplement groups, a non-exhaustive prohibited list, a high-dose limit tied to the NIH Tolerable Upper Intake Level, and document rules that differ for manufacturers and resellers, including a reseller invoice dated within the last 180 days with a combined purchase of at least 400 units. This post does not reprint that prohibited list or the label spec. This page is not medical or compliance advice.
Did Pet Supplies or OTC Medications change since the Oct 2 watch?
Both cards are still in the policy top four. On this watch each is badged UPDATE and labeled Updated Oct 2, 2026, and each essay we opened is dated 10/02/2026. The Oct 2 post logged both as Updated Oct 1, with article date 10/01/2026. The Pet Supplies opening we re-read still allows Pet Food and Pet Supplements through category qualification and still points pet-healthcare examples to Pet Healthcare Product Requirements. Its pet-food and pet-supplement reseller invoice bullets print a date within the last 180 days and a combined purchase of at least 10 units. The Sep 28 summary of an earlier essay recorded a reseller invoice from the last 365 days. The OTC key points we re-read still cover eligibility through an Account Manager, FDA labeling and relevant DEA rules, and Toddler OTC Medications as a High Risk subcategory. We are not publishing a line-by-line diff of either essay. Copy current rules from the live pages.
Did HSA/FSA, the October GMV Sprint, Sales Accelerator, or the Targeted Collaboration Playbook change?
This watch records the same four course titles, in the same order, still listed. The morning capture prints Updated Sep 30, 2026 for HSA/FSA Feature and Seller Guide, 2026 October GMV Sprint, and Sales Accelerator: Grow from Strategic Key Products (SKPP) to Bestsellers, and Updated Sep 29, 2026 for the Targeted Collaboration Playbook (the hub title is truncated at “How Bonus Inv…”). Those are the dates the Oct 1 post already logged. We did not open any course essay, so this post does not state HSA/FSA eligibility, GMV Sprint prizes, SKPP rules, or how bonus invitations work.
Where did Restricted Products Policy and Pet Healthcare Product Requirements go?
They left the visible policy top four between the Oct 2 watch and this Oct 3 watch. Leaving the top slots is a queue change. It is not a withdrawal. The Oct 2 post opened both essays, each dated 10/01/2026 then. This watch did not re-open them. Household Appliances, Pet Supplies, and OTC Medications still say listings in those categories are also subject to Restricted Products Policy. The Dietary Supplements intro says those products are subject to TikTok Shop Restricted Products Guidelines. Pet Supplies still points healthcare product examples to Pet Healthcare Product Requirements.
